How we can actually defeat the terrorists!
Since 9/11 I've been more than a little obsessed with trying to figure out what is going on in the world. Prior to it, I was pretty much the way you'd expect someone in my line of work to be. I voted for Nader in 2000, I thought President Bush wasn't the best person for the job, I thought everyone loved America and Americans because we were trying to do so much good in the world, especially me and Amy and our friends, and I thought the world was evolving into the Aquarian Age of peace, love and harmony.
But as someone who is an Aquarius and who also has Jupiter and Venus in Aquarius, you would have thought that I would have remembered the other side of Aquarius - craziness, extremism, radicalism, throwing out the baby with the bath water, revolution, and sometimes all of the above done just for its own sake. Yeah, that side of Aquarius.
The good side of Aquarius is that we are trying to learn from the past to make the future better for all of humanity and I'm still trying to do this. I think we all have to use our gifts, especially the gift of our common sense, to do this or else we're going to be destroyed by the enemies of our way of life and their are MILLIONS of them, unfortunately.
The good news is that our way of life produces a few geniuses and lots of people who can use their common sense, once they stop letting themselves be influenced by the media, the prevailing political correctness of our time, and their peers and by so doing join us Aquarians, who don't care what other people think of us as long as we are being true to ourselves based on truth and common sense. The good side of Aquarius can defeat the bad side of the Aquarian Age. We can also lose and die horrible deaths from bombs and enslavement - this ain't no Disney movie, this is RL, Real Life, so read on.
If I had to say what my particular genius is, I'd have to say my sense of humor, though there's little of it in these blogs because there's nothing funny about terrorism and the fact that we are losing the war on terrorism because good people are being too good and too politically correct. I've been there and I've done that and I'm here to tell you that it was a mistake because the worst "sin" and maybe the only sin is to ignore the truth when it is staring you in the face.
I'm lucky because I also have another "genius." I love designing our divination systems and helping people help themselves become more empowered. I am a systems designer and to be a systems designer you have to be a systems analyst and that's what I am really good at.
As a systems analyst, the way I usually deal with a situation I'm not sure of is to try to reduce it to its basic components and then to unemotionally look at what is going on so I can make some kind of sense out of it and formulate a plan.
Terrorism is something that has been around for a long time and been employed by small and large groups of the ancestors of almost all the peoples of the nations now on the receiving end of terrorism. Case in point: to the British Monarchy in the 1770's, our Revolutionary War Heroes were probably thought of as terrorists, don't you think? They fought like the Native Americans, who were also thought of as sub-human terrorists by the people they terrorized trying to get them to stop terrorizing them and stealing and despoiling their land.
See, I haven't completely "left the reservation" - bad pun intended - but I am an American first and everything else second. Period. I don't identify myself as a "_____-American," I'm an American. I LOVE America!!! America has given me the freedom to become everything that I am and everything that I have. I literally could not live anywhere else, I would either be killed or the system wouldn't give me any way of supporting myself by being myself, the way America has and always will give its citizens that chance, if we all defend it.
The Constitution guarantees U.S. citizens (and no one else) life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but think of the order of those words (1) Life, (2) Liberty, (3) The pursuit of happiness. Most people think the order is reversed and just want to have fun and not think about the fact that we live in a world where not everyone likes us and wishes us well, no matter how much we wish them well.
However, if we don't have life, then the other two don't matter, so we have to protect ourselves first. It's the President's first job, the thing he swears when he's sworn in, and I think he's doing his best to do so and doing quite well on many fronts - I think of him as someone whose intentions are completely misunderstood by too many otherwise smart people - though I've got a few suggestions below to help him do even better.
So, NO MATTER WHAT transpired in the past and by past I mean yesterday and before, it's obvious that today anyone in just about any country, including Iran and Saudi Arabia, the perpetrators of most of the world's terrorism today, anybody can be a victim of terrorism including you and me and that gets my attention.
We can argue all day long about why terrorists feel the need to kill innocent people but you will never get me to agree that they are in any way justified in doing so. Never. Warriors kill warriors. If you kill an innocent person, you are a murderer by definition.
Yes, our army is on the Arabian peninsula and protecting the supply of oil and protecting the regimes of fascist sheiks but I'm talking about you and me having to worry about Islamic fascists trying to set off nuclear weapons in Kansas City or wherever. To the Islamic terrorists, anyone unlucky enough to be standing near one of their bombs is doing so because "God" has decreed it and anyone who is an American or English or Italian or Polish or Christian or whatever is as Jewish as a Hassidic Jew in black beaver hat, including Muslims that believe exactly the same way that they do. If you get killed from a terrorist's bombs, you're simply fulfilling the will of Allah. Yeah, right! Are these guys crazy or what? Once again, that could be you and me and that is not the way I want to die.
Allow me to have a little side-rant about the way women are treated in Islam, which means "submission," and not "peace" (thanks Billy!) no matter how much CAIR and the rest of the many, many, many Muslim "organizations" are trying to brainwash non-Muslims. I have always been resistant to all religions and anyone and anything that treats women as anything other than as superior to men. Hey, let's face it, they are!
In my humble opinion, one of the main reasons that these Islamo-fascist homicide bombers get so far out of their minds is that Islam doesn't allow for the influence of the superior female intellect and emotional intelligence to properly straighten out the males that are in their care. Instead, it isolates them from public life and political discourse and treats them as baby makers and wet nurses and domestic help. When women are the equal of men in Islam, I'll be all for it. Until then, I think of it as a throwback to the Dark Ages, which we're only just now coming out of, like many of the tenants of the other religions. End of rant.
So, how do you and I prevent us and those we care about from being killed or horribly maimed by terrorists? You can't reason with them or negotiate with them and not just because their wives and mothers (they don't have girlfriends, it's forbidden - no wonder they're crazy!) couldn't stop them. It's because they've convinced themselves that "God" wants them to do this, though why any "God" worthy of the name wants people to die horrible deaths is beyond me, unless said "God" wants these people's property or wants less people walking around. This is just another power grab, in this case by the usual nut-jobs who want to literally rule the world.
You can't reason with terrorists who are willing to kill themselves to kill you. So unless you can get the religious leaders that they respect to somehow break through their delusional belief in the righteousness of killing and horribly maiming innocent people - and today, "coincidentally," the USA's Muslim "fiqh" finally came out and said just that! - you have to kill the terrorists. If you've got a better way, please let me know. I believe that even if all the Israelis packed up tomorrow and left Israel for the Palestinians (who would immediately start killing each other over the spoils, before the other Arab nations surrounding them invaded them and took the place for themselves) and even if the departing Israeli population were given a lift by the departing coalition forces pulling out of every Muslim nation on the Arabian peninsula and elsewhere, the terrorists would still want to destroy "The Great Satan," and that means you and me, my fellow Jews/Americans (same thing to the terrorists!) - they want to impose Islam on the world. It says so in the Koran and its supporting "literature" that they're supposed to do this, so don't be surprised and don't listen when they say it isn't. ALL the terrorists are telling the truth when they are saying that Islam commands them to do this and that is a big problem for us and for Islam. Of course, there are lots of Catholics who use birth control, so it is possible to refrain from enforcing all the tennants of one's faith in one's life, but the extremists say you must die if you do this and they're willing to kill you, so what's a Muslim to do? Alll less than extremist Muslims are in as much danger as us American/Jews (all Americans are Jews to them, remember lantzman?)
I don't like to kill a bug, let alone a human being, but here's something that I saw happen with my own eyes that illustrates what I'm trying to say here. Back in the 1970's I was walking in Chinatown with my best friend at the time who was a second-degree black belt in Chinese Ken-po karate and used me to practice on, so I knew a bit of it too, from the receiving end at least. He was living with me before he went into the Navy as a carrier pilot. I was a musician and it was late at night/early in the morning and we rounded a corner and there staring and growling at us was a mad dog, a big German Shepard foaming at the mouth and everything. We stopped in our tracks and I watched my friend relax his hands, get into a stance, and prepare to kill the dog. We had once discussed this very situation and there is a technique for doing it, you grab the dog's jaws when he attacks you and you pull them apart until you snap the lower jaw off which usually kills the dog. My friend and I both loved and still love dogs but we didn't want to get bit by a mad dog. We were ready to kill the dog. Sometimes you have to do unpleasant things to defend yourself.
You know what happened? The mad dog, as sick as he was, sensed through his madness that he was in the presence of someone who (1) was not in any way afraid of him; (2) was ready to kill him. I think animals and people can sense fear. The mad dog turned and ran away to bite someone else and we let him go, relieved.
No matter what their reasoning, I think of terrorists trying to kill me and other good people who are actually trying to help, not hurt, them and the people of the world, I think of these terrorists as mad dogs and the only thing that can stop them is if we are not afraid of them and are ready to kill them.
Yes, many of them are not afraid to die and many of them welcome death. But a combination of
1) Their Imams telling them that it is religiously prohibited to kill innocent people,
2) Our readiness and that of sensible Muslims to weed them out and turn in, arrest or kill them,
3) Our changing the world banking system to deny them funding,
4) Our stopping the use of "recreational" drugs that are in reality what I call Slave Food, i.e., the stuff you give your populace when you want to keep them docile, complacent and afraid of their criminal past, because the money anyone spends on drugs funds terrorists that kill us as surely as the money we spend on gas for our cars,
5) And that's a most important piece of this puzzle, we've got to convert away from a petroleum economy so that these oil rich assholes stop sending our petrodollars back at us in the form of brain-washed Wahhabbi Muslim extremists with guns, plastic food containers filled with peroxide bombs wrapped in nails, not to mention their nail studded suicide vests, shoulder fired missiles to bring down airliners and nuclear weapons to bring down our economy.
Everybody, especially the good people of this country whom I love and who make America so loveable, has got to stop thinking that the good guys always win or, if you're a Blame America First kind of person, that America always wins because we're so rich and powerful and we impose our will with impunity. Dude, we're losing the war on terrorism because they're using the loopholes in our system and our fear of "racial profiling" and other measures to destroy us from within. If they're successful, it's not just the Internet as we know it that will be no more. If they're really successful, well, start learning Arabic and the Koran and get a jump on your future. You'll impress them before they behead you and maybe, just maybe, they'll keep you around to clean up or for some other use for which words are not adequate.
And, to me, that's the over-arching way to look at the issue of the terrorist threat to you and me. I'm sure there are lots of people who will find things to disagree with in what I believe, but I thank you for reading this far and please know that I respect your right to disagree with me. I just know that you're wrong, but don't worry, I'll defend you from those murderous assholes if I have to. I hope you'll do the same. |
