Swallow The Money: A nonviolent end to war
[Added on July 7th, after the London transport bombings} NOW, MORE THAN EVER, WE HAVE TO STOP THE FLOW OF MONEY TO TERRORISTS!!!!! IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO EFFECTIVELY STOP THEM!
Those of you who have read my blogs have probably figured out that my views on the war on terrorism are not what you would expect to read from a "sensitive New Age guy" and especially from the creator of our many sweet and wonderful creations.
However, essentially, life is about learning to handle the powers that flow through you in order to best manage that powers that flow at you from every direction. We are each the nexus of power and we have a responsibility to ourselves and to each other to think and act clearly based on the evolving truth of our reality.
One of the great blessings of my life in our reality here at The Enchanted World is the people I've been fortunate enough to meet. Rachel Ehrenfeld is one of the greatest ones. Right now as we all sit here enjoying the most amazing freedoms and safety, she's literally risking her life just by speaking and writing the truth, sacrificing considerably in the face of the animosity of some of the richest and most powerful Saudi Arabian bankers and businessmen whom she presents in her clear and highly readable book, "Funding Evil: How Terrorism is Financed and How To Stop It," as the alleged principal funders of the militant Islamist terrorism whose aim is nothing less than destroying you and me and our American way of life and the way of life of all free peoples who don't bow down to their Wahabbi/Taliban brand of Islamic Sharia Law. This is every bit as threatening to our life and freedom as World War II and don't forget that we almost lost that war and we may lose this one if we don't wake up and smell the evil. They're not kidding around and they won't stop unless we stop them.
This book hands us and the leaders of the free world the road map for the non-violent destruction of the world-wide terrorist enemy that we all face -- Swallow the money and POOF! They can't function anymore. There will always be crazy individuals who want to kill themselves just to kill us, but if Rachel Ehrenfeld's words of wisdom are heeded, we could have a world where terrorism just wouldn't pay. It is SO IMPORTANT that I don't know what else to say, other than go check out her website, buy and read her book, and write to our asleep at the switch elected representatives to get off the dime and get ON the dimes that are funding our enemies. That includes getting off their lazy dragging asses about ramping up the solar, wind, geothermal, hydroleclectic and all of the alternatives to oil (except nuclear, of course). Not only will it will it make us stronger and more safe by not funding the funders of terrorism with our gas money, but building the new energy reality in the USA and around the world will create millions of jobs and send the oily Islamist terrorists back to living the way they lived before we made them into the rich monsters that they are.
An army may move on its stomach, but terrorism, especially global terrorism, moves on its money - cut off the money and it's a lot easier to destroy and destroy it we must!
Rachel sent me a copy of her book and I'd like to reprint here a small detail of my fairly detailed reply to her simple question of "How did I like the book?" It doesn't contain everything that I think about what is going on in the war on terror, but it revealed to me how truly concerned I am that we are losing the war on terror. Here it is:
Hi Rachel,
I'm honored that you care about my opinion of your terrifying and well-written book. It is clear and persuasive and, along with the news in Israel, makes me almost convinced that we're going to lose the war against terrorism. That's not a psychic feeling - psychically I feel that things are getting better for some reason - but it is how I feel logically in the face of all of the illogical actions on the part of those entrusted with preserving our way of life.
Maybe our elected representatives will take the necessary actions indicated in your book and end the need for so many boots on the ground to destroy international terrorism. As my connected friends in Brooklyn used to tell me, "Grab 'em by the balls and their hearts and minds will follow." If only an all-out effort was made to destroy the many terrorist funding options you describe there's no telling how much better the war on terror would be going and growing. "Deep Throat" of Watergate fame famously said "Follow the Money," but in this case I say we have to "Swallow the Money!"
